BuyingHow do I buy a course?
Open the course in the catalogue and choose Add to cart or Buy now, then check out. You sign in, or register, at checkout.
A company account does not buy courses for itself: it asks its company for the course instead.
BuyingHow do promo codes work?
Enter a promo code when you review your order at checkout. Some promotions apply themselves in your cart, and the cart says so.
One promotion applies to an order. If more than one could, the one that saves you the most applies.
PayingHow can I pay?
With the payment methods shown at checkout. When you pay by EFT, use your account reference as the payment reference. Your order waits until the payment arrives, and an order that is not paid in time is cancelled.
No VAT is charged. The price shown is the full price.
AccessWhen does my course start, and for how long?
Immediately. Your course starts as soon as your payment is confirmed (for an EFT, when we confirm it has arrived).
It stays open for the access period you bought, shown beside the price. A year is 365 days.
GradingHow is my result worked out?
Only assessments count. Reading, watching and downloading do not. Your module assessments together make up half of your result, and the final assessment the other half.
Your result is then graded on this scale:
- First Class (A)
- 75% and above
- Second Class (B+)
- 70% to 74%
- Second Class (B)
- 60% to 69%
- Third (C)
- 50% to 59%
- Fail
- Below 50%
GradingWhen can I take the final assessment?
The final assessment opens once you have submitted the graded assessments before it. Each assessment tells you how many attempts you have and whether you can practise first.
CertificatesDo I need to pass to get a certificate?
No. A certificate shows that you completed the course. You earn it by completing every assessment, whatever your marks. Your marks and grade are on its transcript.
You verify your identity once before your first certificate is issued, and the certificate carries your verified name. Nothing about your identity is asked before you buy.
CertificatesWho can see my certificate?
Only you, until you make it public at Account → My Certificates. Then anyone you give its address to can see it. You can make it private again, or give it a new address, at any time.
RefundsCan I get a refund?
A course starts as soon as it is paid for, and a started course cannot be cancelled for a refund. This does not affect your rights if a course is faulty, is not as described or cannot be provided.

AccountWho can register?
Adults. You must be 18 or older. You give your date of birth when you register, and a registration for someone under 18 is refused.
AccountHow do I sign in?
Enter your email address on the sign-in page and we email you a link that signs you in. There is no password to remember.
AccountWhere do I find my courses and orders?
Your courses are at Account → My Courses and your orders, invoices and receipts at Account → My Orders.
