Welcome

CattoLMS is a library of self-paced courses. You can browse the catalogue without signing in, choose a course, and decide whether it is right for you before you buy access.

Each topic opens when you choose it.

CatalogueFind a course

Open Courses to see the catalogue: every course, 24 to a page. Choose a category to see every course in it and in its subcategories, search by keyword, or browse tags. A course can carry more than one tag, so tags help when you know the topic you want but not the category.

Choose a course card to read its description, level, contents and prices. The course page is where you decide whether to buy.

BuyingBuy access
  1. On a course page, choose the price and access period that suit you.
  2. Select Buy now to go straight to checkout, or add the course to your cart to keep browsing.
  3. Review your order, then choose one of the payment methods offered at checkout.

Your course starts immediately: as soon as your payment is confirmed it is in My Courses. When you pay by EFT, use your account reference as the payment reference. The course starts when we confirm that the payment has arrived.

CoursesWhat a course contains

A course is made up of modules. Each module covers one part of the subject with written explanations, images, video, downloads or other practical material, and most end with an assessment.

Only submitted graded assessments count towards your progress. Reading, watching and downloading do not. The final assessment opens after the graded assessments before it have been submitted. The FAQ explains how your result is worked out.

When a course offers a certificate, you earn it by completing every assessment in the course, whether you pass or fail. A certificate states that you took the course and shows no mark. Your marks and overall grade are on its transcript. Both are issued once your identity is verified, in your name exactly as it appears on your identity document: if you are not verified yet, the course page offers Verify my identity. Open them from the course page with View certificate and View transcript, and download each as a PDF. Each is private, seen only by you, until you make it public at Account → My Certificates: then anyone you give its address to can check it. You decide for the certificate and the transcript separately, and you can make either private again, or give it a new address, at any time.

LearningLearn and track progress

Open a course from My Courses and select Start course or Continue course. Work through the modules in order unless the course says that another path is available.

Your assessment results are saved as you go. You can leave and come back later: My Courses shows your progress and your completed courses.

Read each module's instructions before starting its assessment. Submit your answers when you are ready and follow the result page to the next step.

AccountSign in and your account

CattoLMS is for adults: you must be 18 or older, and you give your date of birth when you register. CattoLMS uses a one-time sign-in link instead of a password. Enter your email address on the sign-in page and use the link in the latest email. A link expires and works only once.

Once signed in, your account holds your courses, orders, certificates, profile details, email addresses and active sessions. Keep your email address current so you receive sign-in links and order emails.

ContactStill need an answer?

The FAQ answers the questions people ask most. A course's page and the checkout review show its access period, contents and payment details.

If something is unclear or an order does not look right, contact the CattoLMS team with the email address on your account and your order number.
